A: finalement le chrome est de bonne qualité, comme le 1er répondant à écrit, du chrome ne devrait pas rouiller. Donc, j'ai utilisé du WD-40 sur le chrome et simplement essuyé la rouille, qui soit dit en passant provenait du métal émaillé au tours du chrome. merci à tous pour vos conseils

3 years agoA: To be effective the parts have to soak in the liquid for many minutes, it is pretty effective but it will be difficult to keep your part wet. I suggest soaking a piece of cloth with it and hold on the rust spot. Keep in mind the rust spot will become black.

A: Most rust should first be mechanically removed, then treat the part. Heavily rusted rims should best be treated with a phosphoric acid rust remover.

Q: Can this be used on an outdoor landscaping rock? Neutral stone?
2 years agoA: From your question I can't be sure exactly what you want it to do, but "rusted" ferrous items need to soak in the solution for a period of time (depending on the amount of corrosion) for as little as a few hours to overnight or longer. Sounds to me like you may be better off using the product CLR, which can be applied, scrubbed, and rinsed off.
