I applied this Rubberized Asphalt Undercoating Spray to my car’s underbody bolts and subframe. The application was smooth, and it provided a thick, durable coating that seems to bond well to the metal. After drying, it left a solid protective layer that should help prevent rust and corrosion. A: You can spray directly onto bare clean metal for sure. I personally like to use a high grade acid etch metal primer for steel bumper and things. My entire truck is done with this product, gloss black paint and a quality sprayed clear coat!

A: John; 1 can should cover 10 – 14 sq ft. At two coats one can may just be Ok depending on applied film thickness. Regards Rob
