Don't waste your money

I purchased these when I bought my car last fall, not even 6 months into owning them I noticed there was a hole in the drivers side mat. I switched it with my passenger mat and I noticed there is now a hole in that mat too. I put less 14000 KM on my car in the last year so there it's not "excessive wear" by any stretch.. Also, my drivers side mat tends to slide up onto the accelerator pedal and I'm forever reaching down to adjust it. This would be a safety concern if my pedal wasn't attached to the floor.

Poor Quality

First of all. They are not rubber like it states. They are a vinyl of some sort. Rubber don't crack or break in the cold like this product does. You can even tear it. If rubber did this...you wouldn't get a day out of your tires. My wife purchased a set for her car on Dec 12th of last year. She didn't even get the winter out of them. Don't waste your hard earned money.

Didn't survive 1 winter

I bought these on sale in August 2012. As noted already they do have a strong smell but it eventually goes away. After using for a short time I wished that they were larger to have more coverage of the drivers side floor in my small car. In April 2013 I pulled them out for a spring cleaning only to find that it was riddled with cracks and holes in the low spots where it is thinner. I guess the cold temperatures didn't agree with the composition of rubber. They do have a 1 year exchange warranty which I will make use of but I won't be keeping them.

The mats fit well in my new car however left a horrible smell of rubber. Took them out after a day and still can't get the smell out of my car.

Pretty good

I have had these on my rav4 for 2 years now, they grip really well and are adequate at holding snow/ water. For the driver's side I was able to cut out a patch so that the gas pedal would not get stuck under it; this did not affect the water retention as it is a separate well. The amount of water it holds is not too bad. There is no deterioration from what I see so far. SUV and van owners might want to get a runner for the back though since this, and most others, have separate mats for the left and right rear seats leaving the middle vulnerable to the elements. Bottom line is that it works well, not too bad looking and durable for at least 2 years.

Yes, I recommend this product.
