Q: Why is this so expensive. Who makes it , how many kms good for?

A: Royal Purple Max ATF is manufactured by Royal Purple in Porter, Texas, USA. The price of the product is due mainly to the cost of the premium raw materials used in the Max ATF formula, and there is likely additional cost due to customs from importation to Canada. For a full flush and refill with Max ATF, we recommend up to 100,000 miles/160,000km.
