    better quality air mattress

I have used air beds for years when I camp, and this product has been one of the better ones. Kept the air and can be blown up very firm. The height is an advantage when getting in and out AND it rolls up small. Overall great product.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

This seemed like a decent mattress, however I only had it a few days before my cats claws caused it to deflate

    Yes, I recommend this product.

Excellent for road trips with the kids.

I have 3 children aged 9,8 & 6. When we go traveling most hotels give us two queen beds. We set up this bed in the hotel room where two kids share the bed, and the third one gets the air mattress. We have to set up a rotating schedule because they all want the mattress! We have checked into hotels with this setup ever since the youngest has been able to use a bed. It has been excellent. It folds up nice and small for easy travel. In the years to come, when this mattress eventually wears out, I will be looking to buy a new one. Excellent quality and has lasted several years.

    Yes, I recommend this product.

    Not a great purchase

This air mattress is not a great buy...After a couple of nights the mattress was losing air, and wouldn't keep firm for long after it was filled.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Disappointed ~ replaced it with a Coleman

Deflated on first use. Make sure to read and follow the instructions exactly as they appear. Also test the mattress within 6 days of purchase. After the 7th day you only get store credit. My mattress deflated on the very first night. I don't know if I had broken the vacuum seal by turning the pump on while the cap was closed? I followed the instructions and everything looked right. It leaked slowly, but didn't make it through the night. Needless to say, I had to haul it back ( these things are heavy) and replace with another bed. I bought the double high Coleman and have used it for about 1 wk. For the first week I had the Coleman I refilled air twice. The pump is very easy to use and makes less noise than my hair dryer. The Roots mattress on the other hand was difficult to pump and noisy.

No, I do not recommend this product.

    Questions

    1 - 2 of 2 Questions

Q: Can you get a replacement pump for these matresses?

    • A: I called and Canadian Tire doesn't sell a replacement pump. I think you have to special order from Roots. They suggest a new mattress. There is a 1 yr warranty though.

Q: which double height airbeds come with battery operated pumps for use outside I'm looking for an airbed for use in a campground without electricity, battery operated or use with car cigarette lighter

    • A: Please note that Canadian Tire does sell pumps separately that you can plug into a car. More more information please visit your local store.
