Great product

I have left a comment before but I'll leave one again I have been using Rislone engine treatment for years and have been happy with the results. I have over 383,000 miles on my car and as I said I have been using this at every oil change for the past years. I feel that this product does work and I will continue using this product

Worked for Valvetrain Noise

Added 1/2 bottle to crankcase midway between oil changes. Within 5 minutes ticking sound was almost entirely gone. I would not expect this product to eliminate timing chain rattle, piston slap or any other mechanical noise, but it worked as advertised on sticking hydraulic lifters.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This engine treatment is by far the best option if you’re working with a vehicle that already has engine issues. Its harsh enough to get the sludge and grime out but not too bad to the point of more damage. Great product, will buy again.

A: Check with manufacturers I have used it for 40 years recommended by my father he had a 92 Crown Vic with a 4.6 that had over 400,000 I have 2003 f-150 with 500.000 both with no engine oil leaks use with schedule oil change

Q: When you add this product in, do you need to wait till the oil is down a quart?

If using one bottle of P/N 34100 Rislone Engine Treatment 1 litre (32 oz.), it is designed to treat 4 to 6 liter's of oil, this allows you to replace a quart / liter of motor oil at oil change time. You can also use it to “top off” your system between oil changes. We do not want you to overfill the oil capacity. If using P/N 34102 Rislone Engine Treatment Concentrated it is 500mL, the full bottle can be added the same as above, do not overfill.
