Bought it for a present 4 years ago for hubby. Does good job. No complaints. He dropped it and it cracked the plastic. Bought another one a month ago and no complaints.

Remington Microflex Rotary Shaver
We bought one of these for my dad. He had used Remington foil head all his life and I was a little worried as I had trouble finding this brand of Razor. Upon researching your site (which I should have done right away) I found this rechargeable. I felt this was a very good purchase due to the branding behind it as well our families experience with them. My Dad @92 needed something easy to hold and operate, as well as he wanted to try a little different cutting method. The triple rotary heads were great and there have been no complaints. Thanks Remington and Thanks Canadian Tire for coming through once again!! :)

bought this shaver to replace an identical shaver 2 years ago. As good as the more expensive models without the chrome and the flashing lights etc. Very close shaving and can give over 30 minutes of shave between charging. When on sale this Remington is an excellent buy.

Decent shave but after a while may not lastall day

I've used this shaver for over three years and at the sale price I'd say it is a good value. After about a year and a half I noticed that the shave was not as close.Charging is OK- I keep it out of the charger until I hear it slowing. That's how ni-cad batteries work.
You will not save much time over a wet shave because to keep the heads spinning well you need to clean the heads every two or three days. But it's certainly very convenient. I still use it most days unless I have a meeting or have too work late at which point a wet shave is the one that will last the day. Otherwise, 5 o'clock shadow shows up at 3:00.
I may get a new one for home and bring the old one to work for touch ups.

Product description inaccurate

The product description needs to be changed. It says it comes with a travel pouch and cleaning brush. It *DOES NOT* come with any sort of storage container (unless you count the cardboard box) or any sort of cleaning brush.
All that's inside is the shaver, a charger and an instruction booklet.
It is also very light and flimsy. The box feels heavy in the store, but that's largely due to the charge adapter, which accounts for half the weight.

Q: Charging? Does this unit run from a Cord as well as a battery. The cheap batteries they use in these deteriorate quickly and the razor becomes junk if you can't directly plug it in at that point.

A: needs to be charged in order to run. If the battery is dead it will not run by just plugging it. The battery in these units is very good quality. I have one that I used for over 2 years and the battery has not lost a bit of life even after 2 years of usage.

Q: Do you sell the springs? I have had this shaver about 3 months and oops, when the top opened, the blades, etc. fell out. I found all of the parts EXCEPT one spring. How do I get this fixed?

A: Wow. I phoned the customer service number that was in the manual for this shaver and told them I lost the spring. They are sending me a new shaver. A NEW SHAVER. There was no red tape, no sending in a copy of my receipt, nothing, they say they are including a label to send the broken shaver back to them. BUT WOW, A NEW SHAVER. I only needed a spring .... Talk about great customer service. They really stand behind their products and support you.
