Worst product , only worked for 2 months and i try to contact customer service and they where no help at all ,they want there customer to run tests and tell them which part is defective ,and customer have to pay for shipping for the parts

Great heater. Only issues would be the thermostat doesn't seem to be as responsive as a dyna-glow heater and the heater shuts off way before the tank is actually empty. Almost like the fuel filter straw doesn't go down far enough.

A: Yes, just crack the garage door a few inches to allow for fresh air, if your garage is insulated you won't notice the cold air coming in the opening, this heater puts out lots of heat.

A: Yes you can use P-40 furnace oil, P-40 is just purple winter grade diesel with additional pour point depressants ( anti gelling agents added to make it flow at -40 ) gas station winter diesel anti gelling agent is temperature dependent, yes the refinery guesses the weather conditions for the next week or two so you never know what your getting, and you'll want P-40 in this heater if it's -40, or buy all your diesel in the middle of winter.

Q: fan power I know this has an electric powered fan but can it still run without the fan ie power outage and use it as a radiant heater?

A: No power, it won't work, but it runs great on this inverter Product #011-1892-4 and uses about 200 watts so you can get a few hours on a good car battery.
