I bought one of these to wire my murano to tow my trailer and it was very easy to hook up and works great I would recommend it to anyone

Q: Do i have to remove panels to hook up?

A: It would come down to the vehicle you own, but it is likely that panels need to be removed to access the vehicle’s wiring. Also, this unit is NOT compatible with vehicles or trailers that have LED lighting systems.
