The REESE trailer hitch ball mount starter kit is the perfect purchase for anyone who is new to towing and not sure what to get. REESE starter kits come complete with everything you need to set up your trailer hitch and tow safely. Each starter kit includes a ball mount with a pre-torqued hitch ball and Interlock technology to keep it securely in place on your ball mount. REESE starter kits also include either a pin and clip or a lock to keep the shank of the ball mount securely connected to your vehicle’s receiver hitch. Each REESE ball mount is made from solid, all-welded steel and has a Black Powder Coat finish and is specifically designed to work with 2 in. hitch receivers. The drop needed for each vehicle and trailer combination varies, so be sure to pair your vehicle and trailer correctly to achieve a level and safe towing setup.This REESE starter kit fits a 2 in. receiver hitch and has a 2 in. drop. Q: Je ne suis pas capable de dévisser la boule pour l'inverser car je veux monter au lieu de desendre. Est-ce qu'il y a un truc que je ne comprends pas?

A: J’ai inversé la boule comme vous voulez faire. Comme c’était très difficile, j’ai mis la barre dans un étau d’établi en m’assurant que les mâchoires de l’étau empêchent la boule de tourner puis j’ai dévissé l’écrou en utilisant une grosse clé à molette dont j’ai prolongé le manche par une grosse clé de plomberie pour obtenir un bras de levier d’environ 24 po de long. C’est comme ça que j’ai réussi.

4 years agoA: Length of tube part that goes into reciever is approximately 6:5 inches Length of shank where ball sits on is approximately 3.5 inches
