The REESE Professional class V barrel style (Dog bone), receiver lock is designed with a 3-1/2-in span for 2-1/2-in square tube receiver hitches, and secures class V ball mounts with a 5/8-in receiver pin hole. It includes a push button lock mechanism which makes it easy to secure; and, a durable rubber cap that keeps dirt out.

Locks easily, slightly fiddly

This appears to be well-built. The key needs to be inserted from the end which, at least on my car, means I have to unlock it by inserting the key 'blind'. This is a bit awkward. (I suppose I could lie on the ground on my back...) I do not leave the hitch/lock on for extended periods. Hopefully, the rubber/plastic dust cap keeps dirt and water out of the lock mechanism.
