Discrete cable that’s easy to clean

Good quality ethernet cable. The flat cable is near invisible along my baseboard and easier to clean than the traditional tubular style.

Very tiny wires that broke at once.

Unreliable at gigabit speed. Don't buy it.

Have been using this cable for a few months with several different computers and ethernet switches. It does not sustain gigabit ethernet links and causes the endpoints to negotiate down to 100Mb ethernet. Switches: Cisco, Linksys. Ethernet controllers from Intel, Realtek.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: I'm a bit confused here. Either this really isn't a CAT 6 cable, or the specifications listed are wrong. CAT 6 cable should be certified to support 10 Gbps (10,000 Mbps) at 250 MHz. This indicates only 1 Gbps (1000 Mbps) at 250MHz.

    1 Answer
    • A: The standard transmission speed for a CAT 6 Ethernet cable is 1 Gigabit per second (Gbps). However, CAT 6 cables are also capable of supporting higher speeds, up to 10 Gigabits per second (Gbps), depending on the quality of the cable and other factors.
