I have used this shelter 3 times since Christmas. It sets up quick, is easy to put away, and with a Mr.Heater it is warm enough to just wear a sweatshirt inside when it is -18C outside.

Product is great. I bought it online and when I took it out of the box it didn't come with an instruction manual. That's fine though. No need pretty self explanatory. I think it must have been a floor model in the store though because it was dirty. Made with a heavy duty fabric and no pegs. But I will have to go back to the store and get them. Overall though this will keep you out of the elements and enough room to fit a couch if you so desire.

"Flakiest" Shelter Ever

I used this shelter for the first time today and I couldn't believe how much of the inner liner flaked off. The extra light coming in really hurt the visibility in the holes. I'm assuming that since this is a product that is meant to be used in the cold it would be able to withstand the -18⁰C weather. I have to say I'm pretty disappointed and judging by some of the other reviews this seems to be a consistent problem.
No, I do not recommend this product.

black inner coating is flaking off

This hut set up very easy, came down very easy and was great to fish in. The problem was the black inner liner was flaking off everywhere. It was the first time I used the hut so I would expect more flaking after a few trips out. I thought I must have a bad one and was going to exchange for the same one. On my way off the lake I met two other fishermen with the same huts and they had the same problem.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: I use a Mr Heater Portable Buddy in mine and have had no problems with warmth, fumes, or safety concerns. There is an air vent located near the 'roof' on each end of the shelter.

A: No floor, just a skirt around the bottom edge to help keep draughts out. You just pile a little snow on/around the skirt.

A: The rods used to frame the shelter arc the roof upwards. I am six foot four and can stand up in mine.

A: I can't compare to other shelters, but from being in the bag to being fully set up with the anchors installed takes about 3-4 minutes.

Q: Where can you buy replacement rods for the walls? The fibreglass rods in my 3-year old Rapala Pro Select ice shelter shattered when I went to use it for the first trip of the season this year. Can you provide your customers a contact where we can buy replacement rods for these shelters?
