Je pensais faire un bon achat avec ce produit pour déglacer mes vitres de mon véhicule et je suis vraiment déçu de ce produit … J’ai du le faire dégeler à l’intérieur d’un garage pour en venir à bout .

Christmas gift. Tested out 27th after ice formed. Car started with defroster on. Maybe added some time to the clearing of windows but not a product I would buy again.

Q: Will it work when temperature drop below -45C. -40C is normal in our city during the winter. I see the minimum temperature for the product is -20C

A: Hello, thank you for your question on Rain-X Windshield Deicer. As temperatures drop below -30C, the ability for this product to melt ice will diminish. Rain-X Windshield Deicer can still help loosen ice and reduce overall scraping, but it's ability to remove ice all on its own will be reduced. As well, it is best to apply Rain-X Windshield Deicer when the aerosol can is at room temperature. We understand this is not practical in all circumstances, but if the aerosol can is left indoors rather than in the vehicle, its performance is greatly improved. Thank you.

A: Rain-X Windshield De-Icer comes in an aerosol can complete with the sprayer tip. It works like any aerosol can on the market. Once you remove the black plastic cap, you should have a Sprayer tip unless it has been remove from the pressurized can. If it is missing, please go back to the store where you purchased it, with your receipt and ask for an exchange. If you are experiencing some difficulty with the exchange at the store, please contact our Customer service department at 800-924-6994.

A: Non, il ne est pas conseillé d'utiliser ce produit sur "l'intérieur" de pare-brise et les vitres latérales. Sprays Rain-X dégivreur sous forme liquide. Le ruissellement de ce liquide s'écouler sur le tableau de bord, les panneaux latéraux, de moquette et de meubles rembourrés. En plus de faire de l'intérieur du véhicule par voie humide, il est possible de décolorer ou à l'intérieur du véhicule.

A: The active ingredients in Rain-X De-Icer are proprietary. The formula is designed not to harm paint finishes or rubber parts including wiper blade squeegees.
