For correct use, kindly clean and dry the surface prior to application, spray the treatment onto a small dry cloth and wipe onto the exterior glass using a firm circular motion. Q: I live in very cold climate where it can easily get to -30C. Can Rain-X Original Windshield Glass treatment be used on the INSIDE of rear window to prevent glass from fogging or icing in the winter?

A: I wouldn't, because when used on the exterior surfaces, the water drains off quickly and is dispersed. If that happens on an interior surface, the excess water will be distributed into the rear dash and eventually rot the materials

Q: Does this product work well on rear car windows....no rear wipers?

A: I'll assume you have a sedan more so than an SUV or cross over as they normally have wipers. So assuming that , yes it should work because the speed of the vehicle and wind dynamics would remove the rain from the window.

A: Hello, thank you for your question on Rain-X Water-Repelling Windshield Treatment and Rain-X Anti-Fog Glass Treatment. Unfortunately, it is not advisable to use either product on eye glasses. Both products should only be used on non-treated glass. Eyewear often use a variety glass + coatings or plastics + coatings. Applying Rain-X Water-Repelling Coating or Rain-X Anti-Fog could affect the glass coating or the plastic lens. Thank you.

A: Rain-X Original Windshield Treatment is designed to be applied on automotive windshields to increase visibility in wet weather conditions. It's formulation will not deteriorate or damage wiper blades.

A: Rain-x is intended for automotive glass applications, it is recommended to rinse the product off with soap and water as it is not recommended for plastic or rubber surfaces.

A: Rain-x is intended for automotive glass applications, Rain-x will not ruin the paint however it is recommended to rinse the product off with soap and water as it is not recommended for painted surfaces.
