over the past 3 months I purchased lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edge trimmer, blower, shop vac, trolley, all Mastercraft. I purchased extra batteries. Although expensive, they performed to my satisfaction.

So far the battery is working as intended. However, the reason I had to buy this battery is because I had the exact same battery, about 18 months old, that would no longer charge. So if all you get out of an occasionally used battery is 18 months that's not very good.

Works great, seems to out last the 4.0 AH batteries, even though i now realize even with the "Canadian Tire Sale Price" the cost per AH is still higher than the 4.0. All in all works fine on all my tools but great on leaf blower.

A: If you are referring to the #060-1996-0 string and trimmer set with 2.0Ah batter (not 20 Ah) then the battery should work. They have done a good job at making sure the PWR POD batteries are compatible with a few other of their brands. I believe in the description it identifies that the 5.0 Ah battery is compatible with the trimmer as well.
