A: It will work great... I got 4 x 8D Battery, Nautilus marine, 1750 amp each, on a 600 watt solar... I got no issue, beside, I do not have enough panels... I will have to rectify soon

Q: Solar Panels Kit Hi I am willing to install a 300 Watts solar panel kit on my cottage, from what i have been told the battery capacity will have to be at least 400 AH , is this true and what are the good batteries to buy at Canadian Tire ???

A: An off-grid solar array would require the use of deep cycle batteries. Please see our selection of wet and AGM deep cycle batteries in our Marine/RV section. The amount of battery capacity you require is not dependent on the size of your solar panel; it’s dependent upon factors such as how much load to you need to power and over what period of time

Q: Will this battery work as a battery backup I have a 2300 inverter that I am using for a home made sump backup system. Battery will be rarely used and I don't want to invest in deep cell.

A: This battery is engineered for starting applications. Using it in a cycling application may drastically reduce its life and will void the warranty. Please consider deep cycle Nautilus model 10-3029 for your application. The extra cost will pay for itself in longevity. You might also consider model 10-3028 which provides less runtime but may be more suitable to your budget.

A: This particular battery (10-7316) is a flooded cell battery. However, we do offer Gel and AGM type commercial batteries through our special order program, please check with your local store for more information.
