Primos Low Glow Bullet Proof Camera, 8-MP

Purchased two last summer to monitor a small property I gained access to hunt and love them! Picture quality is amazing for the price and they've done well through freezing winter and hot summers. Check out my photos/videos for quality at all times of the day.

I bought this and a comparable Tasco cam at the same time. The trigger range for photos on this camera is terrible, the animal would need to be within 10'-15' to trigger, where the Tasco will trigger at 50' or more. The Primos has no ability to attach to a tripod and to have to use a timesync app to get accurate time on your photos is not very realistic when you want to take it to the bush. Don't wast your money on this cam there are much better out there in this price range.

This camera is 1/4 the size of my stealth cam. Very simple to use, just insert new SD card into camera, turn camera on. Wait until light stops blinking, turn camera off. Insert SD into PC, you will see and file called TimeTool.exe. Run it and it will create a .txt file. Now put back into camera and turn on. It will read the txt and set time, date for you. All done, just place switch in either pic or mov position. It seem like it takes pics ever 10 seconds or when motion occurs. Video is about 10 seconds long and keeps taking 10 sec mov as long as there is movement. Note, there is NO sound on mov files but it does seem to take good pics/mov. Clear pics but if too close it too bright so stand away about 3 feet or more. Most of my mov/pics are about 30 feet away and seems to nice and clear not dark. Recommend 4 good Alkaline batteries which should last 2 months with a few pics/mov each day more if ir is not used. Camera fits almost anywhere, ir does have a red glows so set high up looking more down for less notice. I like this camera plus at this price WOW... Can't go wrong for this easy add security. 5/5 I give... Ray
