With this type of product it's hard to say if it was effective. I do know that in looking into this deeper online my car manufacturer does NOT recommend the use of this type of product for what it is intended. it can result in unwanted issues like less heat due to blocked vales and small tubing. So, in retrospect the best thing to do is put the money toward a proper inspection by a qualified car repair shop.

My car heater was not functioning. The driver side barely warm and the passenger side feels outside temperature. Expert said core needs change. Got it for trial. As i was desperate to save a couple thousands dollars for change, I used it outside the instructions. Add, run the car 2 hrs, soak overnight then run it again. At the beginning there was no change. 2 hours of driving showed the change. The driver side heat restored and the passenger side still cold but not at freezing temperatures. Will do one more trial, otherwise the driver side is blowing enough heat to warm the car. I recommend

Useless product

Poured the whole container into reservoir and added antifreeze as needed. Drove the vehicle for 30 minutes and had to add more antifreeze as this product did not stop the leak.

A: If your tank has a hose going straight to the rad that will do it. Otherwise it may not get to your rad without getting engine hot and cooling one or more times.

A: Simply shake well and put it in the pressurised overflow ysnk, after ensuring the engine is cold and enough room in the over flow. Idle the engine to operating temperature, than re check the coolant level. If it requires more to bring to the full mark, let engine cool and add the necessary approved coolant.

A: Yes you can. You shake the product up, and pour it directly into the radiator and top off with coolant. There is no need to drain the system before or after use.
