Personne ou presque change son huile à frein chaque année, alors même si cette huile est 2 fois plus dispendieuse que toutes les autres, pourquoi s'en passer? Q: Why is the fluid not purple like other dot 5 from every other manufacturer I have seen? It looks like dot 3 or dot 4. Dot 5 is supposed to be purple.

A: The fluid colour for this DOT 5 product is indeed purple; it may appear slightly blue in the bottle or under some lighting conditions. This colour is mandated for all DOT 5 to help distinguish it from regular DOT 3 and DOT 4 fluid which is typically colourless to amber.
