Don’t buy this

I bought this and it did not work at all. They tell you to place it at the height of the dog. My dog chewed it up. Total waste of $30+tax

Didn’t work for us

We set it at our dogs level at the entrance to our home, since that’s where most of the barking happens. It doesn’t phase him in the least. He seems to have become accustomed to the high pitched sound, and barks as much as ever.

A: Thank you for asking about this, Kelly! The green light will flash once every five seconds while the unit is powered on; this indicates it is on. If you are unable to locate your manual, for further information you can see the information from our sister brand PetSafe® here- https://support.petsafe.net/articles/how-to-use-your-indoor-bark-control/ Their PBC00-14661 and PBC00-15266 model units are very similar and will share use information.

Q: Why can't you use this in a dog less than 6 months old?

A: Thank you for your question, Samantha! We recommend that your puppy be consistently responding to basic commands, such as come and sit, before beginning use of any electronic training product. Typically this occurs around the age of 6 months. If your puppy is consistently responding to these commands, then it is most likely okay to start the training. The ultrasonic tone will not harm your puppy, regardless of size or age, but rather the training may not be effective until he or she is old enough to understand it.

A: Thank you for your interest in this PetSafe product. When the PetSafe® Ultrasonic Bark Control is within range of a barking dog, an internal microphone picks up the sound. The unit automatically emits an ultrasonic tone that can be heard by dogs but is silent to most humans. Startled by the high-pitched tone, the dog should stop barking. In time it will associate its bark with this unpleasant noise. When the dog stops barking, the ultrasonic tone also stops.
