Replacing old pump

This pump replaced the old sluggish pump in our miniature indoor water fountain. The dial makes it easy to set the speed of flow and it hooked in perfect with the existing water hose. It runs fairly quite, not as loud as the old one, but doesn't drown out the sound of the trickling water.

Sometimes even a brand-new pump will need taken apart and cleaned, it's possible that there may have been dust or something in it from manufacturing.
