Compact, well designed, inexpensive

I've only just purchased these so I cannot comment on how robust them will turn out to be in the long run but my first impressions are very good. The box looks like a very good design. The cover hinges are well designed - the cover is a separate piece, not one connected to the bottom with 1 piece moulded hinges. The two latches are very secure - you'll need both hands to open it up. The cover can be a little tricky to close if you store your ammo primer end up, The trick is to tilt the box backwards towards the hinge side slightly. The cover then closes easily. You can fit 8 of these inside a standard .30 cal metal ammo can, for a total of 400 rounds. The cover is translucent which means you can tell what's inside the box without opening it up first. I purchased 10 of these, darn cleaned out the store, and I'll probably pick up a couple more. I like these better than some of the MTM boxes I have other ammo stored in.
