It only works with very particular ballasts

They should be more clear that this will only work with electronic ballasts and that is not the majority of ballasts out there. you have to be careful about what you install it into. Otherwise it will simply not power up. The older ballasts work at a lower frequency and this requires a higher frequency input in order to start up. Why? who knows. This is just the way they make them. it's called a type A and it only works with electronic ballasts

j'ai acheté en pensant que c'était "all fit" mais non. je les ai installé de toutes les façons possibles et ça n'a jamais allumé. En lisant les petits caractères sur l'emballage, c'est écrit de vérifier le modèle du ballast car n'est pas compatible avec certains modèles donc, je les ai retourné pour un remboursement. Une chance que Canadian Tire a une très bonne politique de retour.
C'est a vérifier avant d'acheter.
