Why did I wait so long?

Bought these for my '06 Silverado 2500HD. The light pattern is just like an incandesant bulb and they are as bright, if not brighter. I wished that you had them in white so I can use them in the front for the DRL. Interior lights are next.

VERY BRIGHT BULD NEED TO ENSURE IT WILL WORK IN VEHICLE. IF YOU HAVE BULB OUT WARNINGS THEN YOU NEED TO ADD 5W RESISTOR TO WIRING. MOST REVERSE LIGHTS CAN BE REPLACED WITH NON-CANBUS OR ERROR FREE BULBS

Not compatible with incandescent

Web site says compatible with my 2011 RAM truck, but when installed still get error message. Resistance of LED bulbs less than incandescent systems, so I suspect would be the same if you replaced any incandescent lights with these. Canadian Tire compatibility checker worthless in this case.

I've been looking for some quality LEDS for my taillights and front turn signals, LEDS for my tailights has been troublesome since usually after a few days they begin to flicker or dim, not the case with these Phillips leds. Ive had nothing but good luck with them and couldnt be happier!! I cant wait til some amber lights (3157) and maybe some white leds for (h7) and (h11) so i can use them in front turn signals, fog lights and headlights hopefully this is in the works !

Q: Ok to use for turn signal as well? My car uses its brake light bulb as a signal as well. Can I still use these bulbs without suffering the "hyper flash" or would I have to add a resistor?

  • A: WILL NOT WORK IF YOU GET HYPERFLASHING. ADD EITHER A RESISTOR OR FIND A CANBUS (ERROR FREE) BULB FOR TURN SIGNALS

  • A: At the present time, the 3157 LEDs are red in color only. For optimum performance, the LED color should match the lens color.
