not sure i would buy this again

I've had the collar for a while. And I've had a similar experience to one of the other reviewers: my dog jumped the first 2 or 3 times it went off and was very distressed...but that didn't stop her from barking. Now, she just cringes when I put the collar on her but never stops barking at the people in the hallway outside our apartment -- back to the trainer!

Be prepared to buy lots of batteries

Batteries last about 2 days. Dog will quickly get used to it and barking will continue

Quite effective, even for a beagle on a scent

I bought this to keep my beagle quiet at the cottage. I let the dog loose and she roams about in the isolated bush, but her barking carries across the lake and can get annoying. This collar was effective enough that she won't bark even if it's turned off. Unfortunately, the design is prone to break if you're not careful inserting a replacement battery. A spring-loaded contact broke when I replaced the battery. I managed to get it to work, but things got worse when I replaced the battery the next time and it was trashed. This collar uses vibrations, not shocks. And it will not go off if our other dog barks next to the beagle, like the cheap collars do. I will replace the collar and be more careful when replacing the battery.

Lire les instruction d'utilisation et très important au début d'avoir une surveillance de sa réaction. S.V.P. je vous recommande de lire sur différents types de collier pour le problème d'aboiement par vibration pour vraiment comprendre les différences et vous allez choisir ce collier.

i was hoping for a quick fix for my dogs barking without hurting him but this just was silly in the end.. at first he jumped with the vibration so naturally stopped barking.. then it was more of a constant attempt to remove the collar but still barked if something bugged him enough.

No, I do not recommend this product.
