Looks fine, installed easily, works well and my slightly heavy cats (at the top of the doors recommended weight lol) fit through it.

Good for price - one issue.

This cat door is pretty good. Easy to install and whatnot. My only complaint is that it isn't thick enough for the interior portion to touch inside of the hole you cut, so you can always see the interior of the door. I feel like it would have been better if the interior tunnel component that sits inside your door was made to be much longer and then you cut it to fit the thickness of your door.

Q: Does this include a door insert? My door does not have a sold core and I don't want to have a gap between the frame's. Does this include a frame for both sides of the door?

A: It has a frame for both sides of the door but if you have a hollow door there will be a gap inside. I filled it with wood and air nails.

Q: can I attach just one side to the bottom of the metal screen door... What im saying is do i need both sides of the kit to make it work... this is a metal storm door with the screen on the top.. Tks.
