Broke during assembly

Awful to assemble and broke in the process. Needed tape to make it usable. Now can’t open the top.

Weak Construction

I bought this for my daughters Husky when she was coming to visit. Her dog hates being separated from her, hence the kennel for when we were going to be gone for a few hours and couldn’t take him. He’s not accustomed to being in a kennel. However when we got home he wasn’t in it any more. He literally pulled the door out of it! Beef up the strength of the door guys, it’s pretty soft metal, make it thicker or harder or maybe even both. I reinforced the door and that fixed that issue and the next day he was trying to chew his way out of it around the door and there’s holes from his teeth around the door, plastic could be more durable by far. Overall not impressed. For a dog that is fine with being in a kennel it would suffice but fails when they are not.

Great Choice

This kennel is the perfect size for our large dog and allows good air circulation, better than the last one we had. Easy to clean and keeps her safe while we're driving. (She would put her 100 lbs in our laps if she were uncrated.) The price was comparable/better than others available. It's our doggy car seat!

Q: Can anyone confirm this is approved to use for air travel? We need an approved crate to travel with our golden retriever on Air Canada on a 6 hour flight.

A: Yes it is approved - we used it on both Westjet and Alaska but you do have to provide containers for food and water, they ae not included with the kennel

A: Unfortunately it does not. I pick up the empty kennel by sticking fingers through the vented holes you see on both sides.
