Product was clearly used before

Bought this for my cat, but never tried it out because it had clearly been used before and repackaged (at the factory level - not by Canadian Tire). The water jug had an oily residue, inside of the bowl was scratched, and they had clearly put a new label over one that had been mostly torn off. I would have liked to just exchange for a new one, but I can't support a company that thinks this is acceptable quality control.
