Permatex High Strength Removable Orange Threadlocker is a hybrid formula that combines the strength of Red threadlocker with the removability of Blue Threadlocker. Orange Threadlocker is ideal for modern day engine bays with a great deal of lightweight components and high vibration applications. Unlike traditional Red Threadlocker, Orange Threadlocker can be removed with hand tools when extra force is applied.

Works great in terms of not loosening but couldn't remove it even after seconds, stripped the head and broke an expensive part.

Hello and thanks for your feedback, Permatex Orange threadlocker is a high strength but easily removable threadlocker. In your case, it may be that the bolt or fastener may have been over torqued, which would make it much more difficult to remove. Try spraying on some brake parts cleaner, hopefully this will penetrate enough to soften the threadlocker so that it will release. keeps things together as it should

I bought this as some of the retaining screws and bolts on a piece of equipment kept coming loose. Put some of this on and tightened them up and so far - so good, nothing coming loose. It's doing the job as intended. Then I did a boneheaded move, I left the lid off and the bottle fell over and managed to land such that it was almost upside down. I lost all the liquid inside. So no I have to buy another one to have in case anything else comes loose.

The orange thread lock is great for certain applications. Not to strong or weak. Make sure you shake it really well, though. It seems to separate more than any other thread locker I've used.
