Permatex® Dielectric Tune-Up Grease protects electrical connections, ignition parts and wiring from moisture, salt, dirt and corrosion. It prevents voltage leakage and arcing, resulting in a stronger spark and maximum fire power. Dielectric Grease is designed to protect electrical connections, prevent voltage leakage and to insulate connections from salt, dirt and corrosion. A light coating of dielectric grease can to help to prevent corrosion on battery terminals. Another product specifically designed for battery posts is 038-3726-8 Permatex Battery Protector & Sealer.
