Très bien au debut

J’ai acheté cette mangeoire l’année dernière. Depuis quelques semaines je trouvais qu’elle se vidait excessivement vite. En final, j’ai remarqué qu’un écureuil avait grignoté le plastique du trou du « 1 etage ». Dès que je remplis ça se vide doucement. Pourtant c’était sensé être sécurisé et qu’avec le poids d’un animal le système descendait et bloquait l’accès au dévidoir. Il semblerait que ça ne soit pas le cas… bref pas efficace

Great. No wasted food. Keeping squirrels and bigger birds away. Takes a few days for the birds to figure out where the holes are through the cage. But overall, worth the money

Les écureuils ont réussi en position tête en bas, malgré que le tube descent et qu'il soit éloigné et sur une branche fragile, à arracher et grignoter les ouvertures ce qui fait que toutes les graines sortent. J'ai acheté un deuxième pour remplacer les ouvertures grignotées.

This birdfeeder is great!! The cage comes down if any significant weight is on it. That is the squirrel be gone part. Brilliant design and definitely worth the money!

Squirrels Won!

It took my squirrels about 4 weeks to demolish this feeder AND I got a baffle for it!! I don’t know how they do it, but they’ve a champ on their team somewhere. They got the lid off (even though it’s screwed on) and chewed through the metal to make it drop to the the ground. This is the 3rd different feeder I’ve tried, although to be fair a moose destroyed one of them. So, currently it’s squirrels 2, moose 1, me 0.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Sorry to hear about this! Try and hang your feeder at least twelve feet from any tree trunk or limb and at least four feet up from the ground. This will prevent squirrels from either jumping from the tree or up from the ground onto the feeder. To help stop squirrels from stealing your seed, be sure to hang your feeder at least 18 inches away from any reach points. The feeder is covered under a 1-year replacement policy. A: The lid of this feeder lifts off for cleaning and filling. While it is attached with a spring, once it is lifted up, it can be held to the side.
