4 X 6 Palram Greenhouse

I finally got around to building my greenhouse. The quality of the greenhouse was good. The instructions were quite difficult to follow, some of the parts were not numbered so it was more of a guessing game as to which parts went where. We will see how it stands up over the winter and how it handles the Chinook winds. Looking forward to next spring.

Don't bother buying this product, maybe 150 worth of materials that is very poorly designed and does not build easily extremely difficult to construct

poor snow resistance

Despite being advertised as snow-resistant, our greenhouse roof caved in after a snowstorm. I had higher expectations for its durability.

Good Framework -Poor Side Window Forms

It’s a good greenhouse from the point of view of the metal work and ease of construction. The top panels need glueing in as they pop out during gusts (not quite sure how the wind gets in underneath but it does..), and I’ll probably put some extra braces over to keep them in place. The side windows are blown sheet plastic which act very poorly. They’re difficult to get in the channels, and, oh my days, do they rattle horrendously in the wind. I’ve had to take them all out as some of the end panel smaller ones have blown out, and the side panels make too much noise. I’ll probably end up putting some sort of substitute all around, possibly more polycarbonate like the roof.

Bare Minimum Upkeep, Works for Me

I've had this greenhouse for a few seasons now, and it's still as good as new. Maintenance has been easier than I anticipated. It's a decent long-term investment.

A: After posting the "answer bot" went to the picture you were looking at and I realize why you ask the question. No the greenhouse has a back wall that is hard to see in this pic.

A: Interesting question. I didn't look at parts availability but I suppose hailstorms and falling trees may change that. I have ordered accessories from Canadian Tire which were shipped to me. If the online store does not list parts I will go direct to Palram if I ever need something.

Q: Would I need a heater to go with this greenhouse to keep it warm inside over the winter? Would this greenhouse be fine for growing succulents over the winter? Thanks!

A: this is a greenhouse which is warmed by the sun. So the temperature will vary with weather. It would depend on where you live.

A: The greenhouse comes with a Manual Vent. You would have to open and close manually. There is an automatic vent opener that changes automatically, this is SKU # 074-5437-6

Q: can this greenhouse be easily taken down in the fall of the year and put back up in the spring? Our snow loads and wind during the winter months exceed what this greenhouse can withstand.
