I purchased this more to trial the concept of an 8" Santuko and if I wanted to buy a top brand version later. Very impressed with the quality for price. Very sharp, good weight, holds its edge well. I think I'll just keep this one over spending 2-3x more on a Henckels or Zwilling.

Don’t hesitate to purchase this knife. It is phenomenal quality, so sharp and has an excellent handle/grip. I purchased the smaller size first and have been using it for two years. I cook all the time, constantly chopping. Great value for the price.

Doesn’t keep its edge

Purchased this for normal kitchen use at Christmas ‘23. It hasn’t been 30 days yet and this knife will not cut an apple easily. I have to say I’m disappointed. I do expect to sharpen a knife, but not after 25 days if light use and never used on a hard surface.

No, I do not recommend this product.
