Multinautic has developed heavy-duty dock hardware kits to allow you to easily build the wood dock of your dreams. Featuring our heavy-duty hardware and floats, you can choose between medium and high freeboard kits to match your nautical activities. Start with a Semi-Floating section and connect it to one or more Floating docks. Family and friends will fully enjoy the summer fun. This page present the 8 ft. x 16 ft. High Freeboard Floating dock kit.

  • For a stable dock layout, connect this dock section to the 4' x 16' High Freeboard Semi-Floating Dock No.19476 that allows to reach deeper waters and creates a smooth transition between the floating dock and the shore

  • This large 8' x 16' dock with a High Freeboard makes it the ideal choice to securely moor boats up to 20 ft

  • Includes HDG steel hardware for an 8 ft. x 16 ft. dock: HD structural corner brackets (4x) with back plates (10x), joists corners (12x) w/back plates (24x), HD anchor chain retainers (2x), 3/8" and 1/2" Carriage bolts

  • Includes five 24 x 60 x 16 floats (750 lbs. buoyancy each) for a High freeboard of roughly 21 in. above water, good for pontoons, power boats, sailboats, etc.

  • Suggested lumber is 2 in. x 6 in. for a sturdy dock that will be light enough to ease installation, use 2 in. x 8 in. for demanding locations, see the image and the pdf file for the required material list

  • Floating docks require anchoring, download our installation guide for more details and to evaluate your specific needs. Anchoring materials will be purchased in your area

  • Connect dock sections with Heavy Duty hinges (#19133 sold sepa.). Our dock kits include 2 extra back plates to install them if you want to make a P-shaped dock layout

  • HDG lag bolts and large washers for floats installation are included
