  • A: The recessed portion of the cooking surface is coated with a non-stick coating. That coating is PPG Eterna which is widely regarded for its excellent food release.

  • A: This product features a textured cooking surface. The raised stainless steel grid is not coated with anything and allows for better browning/searing of proteins. The recessed portion of the cooking surface has a non-stick coating which makes cleaning easier. It is compatible with all stovetops, but as with most cookware, typically only low to medium heat should used.
