The future of lawn mowing is here now

Simply unbelievable this baby does her best mowing at night with the light that automatically turns on when the sun goes down. The auto mapping is to perfection. First before mowing you must auto map your yard. The robot mower is capable of mapping several areas of your yard. Then you can save them for next mowing. This machine is powerful. We are on 0.3 acres of land and the robot mower slices and diced through all the grass and cuts to the edge flawlessly. This has to be the coolest thing on the market today. I'm having cocktails on my front deck as the worx wr340 does all my mowing for me.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Upgraded to a newer landroid

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I originally purchased the first-generation Landroid for my front yard, and I was so impressed with it that when this newer Vision model was released, I had to get one. I honestly didn’t think it was possible to improve on the original, but this version performs even better. The biggest upgrade by far is the yard mapping—no more boundary wires! I used the app to manually map and zone my yard, and the process was incredibly easy. Saying goodbye to wires alone made the upgrade worth it. As a bonus, I even mapped my neighbor’s yard for him. The process was so simple that it only took a little extra time, and he’s been extremely grateful ever since. It’s nice knowing we’re both spending less time mowing and more time enjoying our weekends. Once the mapping was complete, it was completely hands-free. Now I can sit back and enjoy another mowing season without spending time—or sweating—in the yard. The mower takes care of it all for me. I definitely recommend this newer wire-free version. The technology works great, setup is simple, and the price is reasonable for everything you get. If you’re on the fence about upgrading from an older model or you’re tired of dealing with boundary wires, this mower is absolutely worth a look.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Hardworking, to it's own noisy detriment

Setup was fairly straightforward, and on the pure lawn mowing side of things it's ok. The problem is that the trimmer module weighs too much, so that makes the unit struggle over paths where it would have no trouble without the extra unbalanced weight. So skip the trimmer unless you're really into that. The worst case scenario are inclines to the right hand side whilst traveling along it - where the trimmer already makes it lean down/in. But the absolute worst most terrible thing about these units are the audible alerts that are apparently mandatory every single time the blades are about to spin (at least for European models). The unit has a mandatory alert off 4 medium loud buzz sounds on every mowing start. This means that when it is struggling orienting itself or doing a side trim round, my neighbors are blasted with 4 medium loud buzzer noises ever minute or so as the unit restarts the blades after a turn, tries again up a little incline, or rears itself stuck in a hedge (then it beeps/buzzes it little heart out for 5-10 minutes before the final push notification of defeat is delivered). I can not at all in good faith recommend anyone this experience. It is so far from silent operation I could possibly imagine. Apparently this is not even from a speaker inside the unit, online sleuthing indicates the noise is generated by one of the motors - so I can't even hack it too my (otherwise) partial satisfaction. Buyer beware! If you have tricky edges or like to use parallel stripe mowing - it will make lots of beeping/buzzing sounds all the time. It stops/starts the blades less frequently if you use the "natural" pattern, since it can turn a bit smoother without stopping the blades so frequently then. This has been a partial workaround for me so far - but I'm pending a return request to get rid of this thing for good. Worx could easily just fix this with a "customer is an adult so we give them the option-override". The blades are able to spin without triggering the sound if they wanted to - as proven by the manual control where no such buzz is triggered. Worx is being outdone by other competitors that treat their customers like adults allowing themselves to decide how annoying their equipment on their own property should be. They could at least have tried to make the buzz not trigger so soon if it was triggered relatively recent, but they're probably going to refuse/not bother making some sort of buzzing cool down logic.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Good mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mower works great most of the time, though it did get stuck a few times. The cut quality and maneuverability are good, but the app definitely needs improvement. It's annoying that I have to send the mower back before starting a new mowing session - hopefully that can be fixed with an OTA update. Overall, it's a good mower.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Wow!

I’ve been absolutely blown away by the Worx Landroid Vision. I was a little skeptical at first about how well a robotic mower could actually handle a real yard, but this thing has completely exceeded expectations. The setup process was surprisingly simple, and the app is incredibly easy to use. Being able to connect it to Wi-Fi and control everything from my phone makes scheduling effortless. I can set it to mow automatically or start it manually whenever I want, and it just works. What impressed me most is how smart the mapping system is. My yard has multiple sections separated by a driveway and other obstacles, and the Landroid handled it without an issue. It mapped everything accurately and keeps the entire property looking consistently clean and manicured. Battery life has also been fantastic. One of the coolest moments was leaving for the day and coming home to a perfectly cut lawn — while realizing the mower had been quietly working the whole time I was gone. It’s super quiet compared to traditional lawn equipment, so it doesn’t disturb the neighborhood at all. Honestly, this thing has completely changed lawn care for me. My neighbors constantly ask about it and several are already talking about buying one because they’ve seen how good the yard looks. It basically eliminates the need for full-time lawn maintenance and gives me back hours of my weekends. Best of all, my family loves it. My kids think it’s the coolest thing ever, and my wife is thrilled that I have more free time to spend with the family — and even sneak in a little more golf. Easily one of the best purchases I’ve made for the house.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Q: My backyard is enclosed with a privacy fence to keep my dogs contained.  What are my options for the yard that is opposite of where the base is located. Will it more that lawn without being able to get back to the base?

  • A: I have a similar situation and only use the Landroid for the back yard because I don't want to leave my gate open for the mower to move additional 'zones' in the front and side yards. (My front and side grass areas only take ~25 minutes to mow with an electric push mower.) However, if you wish for the Landroid to mow the area outside of the fence, you will need to open the gate to let it pass through to the other zones and close the gate behind it to contain your dogs. My mowing time is cut in half with only using my Landroid for the backyard so I feel it's worth it.

Q: On two sides of my lawn I have neighbors' lawns. No fence, no visible separation. 3  QUESTIONS. (1) Will cloud vision work? If so (2) Must I keep magnetic strips in my lawn forever, or just for mapping? (3) Can I just manually map borders?

  • A: I would suggest laying a garden hose on the boundary line for the "auto mapping". Once mapping is complete the hose can be removed. You can also manually map, but the garden hose will help give a nice straight line.

Q: It looks like this will eliminate the need to do edging or weed whacking. Is that true?

  • A: No, it doesn't eliminate edging unless you have perfectly straight lines and no obsticles but you'll need to do substantially less edging.

Q: What is a typical speed of travel for the WR340? Given a cutting width of 8.7", if it travels at 1 foot per second and can run just 1 hour before fully charging for another hour, it should take 8.38 days minimum to mow 1/2 acre.

Originally posted on worx.com

  • A: Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. The WR340 is rated as a 1-acre mower, which means that under typical conditions and depending on lawn complexity, it is designed to maintain and mow up to 1 acre over the course of about 48 hours, including the time it needs to return to its charging base and recharge. Because of this, looking at the mower as if it travels in a straight line at a constant speed (like 1 foot per second) doesn’t accurately reflect how it operates in real-world conditions. Robotic mowers like the WR340 move in a more dynamic pattern, overlap cutting paths, and spend time navigating, turning, and recharging, all of which are factored into that 48-hour coverage rating. In practical terms, rather than focusing on a constant travel speed, it’s more accurate to expect the WR340 to gradually maintain your lawn by mowing in cycles throughout the day. So while a straight-line calculation might suggest it would take many days to cover 1/2 acre, the mower is specifically engineered to manage that workload much more efficiently over time, keeping the grass consistently trimmed rather than cutting it all in one pass. Thank you for choosing WORX!

Q: Is this mower good for ZOYSIA grass? It is very dense grass

Originally posted on worx.com

  • A: Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. The WR320 can work on zoysia grass—even though it’s dense—because its cutting range of about 1" to 3" matches the ideal height for zoysia and robot mowers are designed to maintain lawns with frequent light cuts. However, because zoysia is thick and can become tough when overgrown, the WR320 isn’t strong enough to handle heavy, tall growth and may struggle if the lawn isn’t already kept short. For best results, you’ll want to cut the grass down with a regular mower first, then let the WR320 maintain it consistently; in that role, it performs well, but it’s not meant for cutting dense, overgrown turf. Thank you for choosing WORX!

Q: Is it four wheel drive? Does it have a GPS tracker if stolen?

  • A: Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. The WR310.1 is not four‑wheel drive and uses a standard drive system. It also does not include GPS tracking by default, but GPS and theft tracking are available as an optional add‑on. The Find My Landroid module can be added later, allowing owners to enable GPS location and anti‑theft features whenever they choose. Thank you for choosing WORX

Q: Does the landlord vision cloud need wifi that covers all of the lawn?

Originally posted on worx.com

  • A: Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. Wi‑Fi is required for the initial setup, but it does not need to cover the entire lawn. If the mower moves out of Wi‑Fi range, it will appear offline in the app and will not accept app commands during that time. However, it will continue mowing normally and will reconnect automatically once it returns within Wi‑Fi range. Thank you for choosing WORX!

  • A: Hello there! Thank you for your inquiry. Yes. The WORX WR310.1 Landroid Vision (Cloud) is designed to climb hills with slopes up to 33% (17°) and can handle moderate inclines using its vision-based navigation and traction system. Performance is best on dry, firm, and even surfaces, while loose soil, wet grass, or uneven terrain may reduce climbing capability. Thank you for choosing WORX!
