Not sturdy. Circular base seems to be too small in diameter to offer much support. The middle piece that holds the umbrella doesn’t fit snugly in the circular base. Tightening knob is way too long and sticks out oddly. Not a good product for the price. Will be returning.

Great idea poor execution

Over priced for what you are getting. Without the weighted material to make the base effective it’s useless. The product should come with information about what sized umbrella that the base can support. Also the store should sell either sand or quick cement so, the purchaser doesn’t have to make another purchase at another store.

Q: How to assemble this umbrella base

  • A: This umbrella base is basically all snap-together pieces. The four empty green bags that sit inside the base are used for weight, which can be filled with sand, and then velcroed shut.
