Great for kids.

This basketball arcade is a short set up for young kids. It was easy to set up but the pump included to fill the balls with air did not work so I had to use a bike pump. It folds for great storage and only takes up less than 2 ft deep x about 5 ft high and 40 inch wide when folded. No batteries included you will need 3 (AAA). HAVE FUN.

Cheap plastic rims!

Bought a year ago for my son, after a few months both rims started to crack. I contacted Rec-Tek directly to let them know and they offered to sell me 2 new rims but with the shipping and converting into Canadian currency, I told them I could buy a brand new one for that price. We mended the plastic ourselves but it's breaking again.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: For the Rec-Tek Shootout Challenge Game, does it come with a pin to inflate the basketballs? In the box there was a pump and basketballs, but the pump needs a threaded pin to insert into the balls to inflate. Does the pin need to be bought separately?

Q: The volume has muted and when I unmute, it's not coming back on. Have tried taking out and changing the batteries, shutting on and off but nothing works. Any advice ?

  • A: We left ours outside under cover and it survived okay 4 years now. The nets broke down in the uv and the plastic attachable for the hoops got brittle so they have just broken now. Trying to see if we can super glue or get replacements. This was a great investment in active fun for teens!
