Weaver mounts

On the bottom half of the mounting ring there were small ridges along the outside edges of the mount. I'm assuming it's a lack of quality control during the manufacturing process. This would prevent the mount from having a single large mounting surface area and just have two small pressure points pushing on the scope body on each mount.
No, I do not recommend this product.
