Not frost resistant despite box

Box implies frost resistance, but manual says no. I was fooled by this. I think there is another model not sold by CT that is frost resistant and also sturdier mount, with blue/green sides rather than grey. Retracts dependably. Hose thin and stretchy so hard to tell when you’ve reached the end of 100’. Does sometimes kink at the reel entrance when retracting. Water flow fine for gardening. Might be too low for other things.

No, I do not recommend this product.

When purchasing, beware that this is a 1/2" diameter hose, NOT the standard 5/8" diameter. As a result, the liss in volume when attaching a sprinkler gives a much smaller area of coverage than a larger hose.

Q: The only thing locking this $250 hose to the wall mount is a single Philips head screw. Is there a better way to make sure this very expensive hose doesn't get stolen?
