    Small grow light.

    It’s okay. I don’t put them in the actual plant pot. It doesn’t work well. I have them on my wire plant shelves propped up by the wire grid, with the bottom anchored against the supports on the side. Not optimal but it kind of works. An option to CLIP onto something would be better.

    Q: Does the timer automatically turn the light on at the same time every day? Or is it more like a sleep timer where you set it on for x hours and then you have to manually turn it on again and reset the timer?

    • A: I actually ended up buying it and I least the one I got DOES function like a timer. It will turn on at the same time of day that you orginally turned it on, and stay on for whatever amount you had set the timer (3, 9, or 12h). Very useful - but not obvious from the interface.

    Q: Does this have a base, or do you have to stick it in the pot? If you can only stick it in the pot, this would be a problem for a small pot.

    • A: It does not have a base, it has a spike that you put into the soil in the pot and it extends from there. I suppose you could stick it into a narrow vase or glass filled with something like marbles or pebbles and put it beside a very small potted plant.
