Inaccurate and Frustrating – Failed to Identify the Correct Breakers

I bought this hoping it would make replacing light switches quicker and easier. Unfortunately, it did the opposite. It consistently failed to identify the correct breaker. I was getting strong signals on completely unrelated breakers and no signal at all on the one it was actually connected to. It ended up costing me more time than it saved. I’ll be returning it. I wouldn’t recommend spending your money on this product.

Not the most Accurate

It will bring you ( around ) where the breaker that you're looking for is... :( Unfortunately " "AROUND" or "NEAR" isn't good enough for me and could even be quite dangerous. Also, if the specific breaker you're looking for doesn't have any power "because maybe it jumped..." this tool becomes useless. It doesn't work if there's no power :( I asked to an electrician at work if there was a different brand that was dead on accurate when trying to find the right breaker and he told me that they are all pretty much the same. They are not super precise and will bring you "NEAR" the right place... sucks.. I'll keep mine anyway, knowing they're pretty much all like that:(

This product is something you would mostly use or be useful at a cottage where you don't go often OR when you've recently bought a home and still unfamiliar with the circuit breaker. It's very easy to use. It helps you trace circuits to find the right breaker in your electrical panel. Plug into outlet, go to your electrical panel and you'll see which breaker it is
