Less than a year old and I am less than satisfied with this product. Broken handle and rust spots. Warning to others…save your hard earned money for a better product. I wrote the warranty department and they basically cover nothing.

Terrible. The steak knives broke into two pieces two months into having them. And not just 1…all 6. They cost almost $400 and they are absolute garbage…not even worth $20.

False advertising

Listed as being "damascus". They are not! The "damascus" markings are laser etched on.the wood handle was sanded down too much on each knife leaving a sharp edge where it meets the metal. Will be returning immediately.

Q: Why is this set called a "Damascus" set if the steak knives and shears included aren't?

A: Sorry Martin, but that's not an answer: "Damascus" refers to a technique for layering steel, usually through folding and reforging which the main knives clearly displays, and that the steak knives clearly don't. Nor the shears. Hence my question of why they weren't on a set that claims to be made of Damascus steel. Has absolutely nothing to do with the "design on the blades themselves".

A: Picture says made in China on the knife. Description also says Damascus like pattern....so probably not even Damascus.
