Purchased for my cat to transport back and forth to cabin. Fits his cat bed and still room. Obviously really strong material and zippers and durability. My cat is 22lbs and it still holds him like a hammock. lol Also he loves it in there so I keep it up all the time and he sleeps and plays in there. Likes to jump out at me when I’m walking along. lol. Wish I had it sooner. I can pick it up and bring to vehicle no problem. And then he has his comfort from home at our cabin. Recommend 100%

  • A: Our dog is 70lbs and 23” at the shoulder. It’s a great crate for car travel, however when crated in the house we still use the hard crate. The main reason is because of storm phobia. For the car though it’s great

  • A: no this is not the type of crate for air travel. This crate is made of canvas. You require a hard plastic crate for air travel. Check the West Jet web site.

Q: can this be secured and used the back seat of a car? I'm adopting a dog who is about 45 pounds and need a portable crate for occasional car rides.

  • A: Personally I don’t think it would be suitable for securing in a back seat. Also, make sure that they are well comfortable with being in a crate, if they are anxious they could easily destroy it. Good luck with your new friend.

Q: I just bought this dog crate and the photos online and on the box show it with roll-down blinds over the mesh panels, when I opened the box, there were no blinds, just the Velcro tabs where they are supposed to attach.  Is it supposed to come with blinds?

  • A: Mine didn't come with blinds. The velcro tabs are for rolling up the mesh panels. All the photos that I saw on the website show the mesh rolled up. I didn't notice any blinds in the photos.

Q: I purchased a Petco dog crate about 3 weeks ago. My dog completely destroyed it. I would have thought that something made for dogs would be a little sturdier.
