Was assured at checkout that this was not a 'coated' product (or was it somehow just distracted by clerks instruction and prsise?). But research indicates it has a teflon coated. So. Not yet used. But packaging gone.

A: treat it as a large frying pan which happens to have rounded edges.. because of the excellent teflon coating little to no oil is needed..

A: NO. Cookware items with Tefal/T-fal non-stick coating do not contain PFOA. This is regularly checked by independent laboratories, which verify the absence of PFOA in the finished products. These tests have systematically proven the absence of PFOA in products with Tefal/T-fal non-stick coating.
