Not functional after first use

After the first use (which was in snow) the pins that allow it to extend/collapse were damaged, not allowing the shovel to be taken apart.

Listen. This is an objectively stupid product. But I bought it because I am an objectively stupid man who loves multi tool marketing gimmicks. Two in one anything? Sign me up. So I took it camping and at one point I needed to saw some wood so I went to the car, took out the shovel saw. And as I approached my fiancé, I unveiled the saw part of the shovel. And let me tell you. She laughed for 20 straight minutes. Every time she would stop laughing she would look at me again holding the shovel saw and burst into hysterics. For the entire rest of the weekend all I’d have to do to make her laugh was suggest we use the shovel-saw for something. So 5/5 stars Canadian Tire

Q: After taking the handle off the shovel blade, can the plastic hand grip come off the shaft, re-attach to the shovel blade and have the remainder of the handle attache to the grip, providing a 90 degree configuration of the shovel

A: I guess what I'm trying to say is the configuration would look like a garden hoe. There is no description photo of the back of the shovel, but to configure this, there should be a hole in the back of the shovel blade where the handle inserts in order for the spring button in the hand grip to snap into.
