Time consuming, stiff, cushions itchy

This sectional took me two separate days to assemble, tedious assembly. Everything arrived in a single box, which was incredibly heavy and difficult to move. The size is great, and the price was reasonable, which are the main positives. However, the comfort level isn’t quite what I was hoping for. The seat cushions are fairly stiff and thinner than expected, while the back cushions are quite short and don’t provide much support. The fabric also isn’t very soft—it has a somewhat scratchy texture rather than a smooth, cozy feel. Overall, I’m happy with the size and value for the money, but I do have some buyer’s remorse. I was hoping for something more comfortable and inviting for relaxing around the fire on cool evenings, and this set falls a bit short in that regard.

Beautiful set

Beautiful set. I can't attest to the durability as I just bought it but I can see the wicker being delicate, will have to take care not to snag it on anything. The material is quite nice, like a tweed and the covers zip off for the wash. I like that you can rearrange the pieces and buy extra pieces. I bought an extra middle chair that came with two clips to attach it to the rest of the set. That's when I realized the set was missing it's clips, it should have come with 6. I went back to the store (Lindsay) and the manager wasn't about to go look for them. She gave me a cold stare and said no it didn't come with them, no they can't order them and no they have nothing like them. I went and looked myself and found 3 clips sitting on a random table. If you have 3 then you should have all 6 cuz they would have been bagged together. She gave me a $20 refund. But I'd rather have my proper clips and maybe less attitude. I called the manufacturer (Canvas) and with no hassles they sent me out a new set of clips. Excellent service from Canvas.

A: There is a way to secure each section to the other. They do not come apart when sitting on the seam of two sections. This is a really lovely set, that can be configured in different ways. It is comfortable and looks great, too.

A: It's resin, so basically it's not real wood, but that works out better because the colour doesn't fade, it doesn't knick/break easily and you can hose it down easily to keep clean
