It's a good solid boot but being a woman, it would have been better a bit narrower in the ankle area. the women's boots have heels that are too high and not comfortable walking in muck which is why I bought the men's version.

Q: How do these boots do in hot/humid climates? any experience folks have with these in hot/humid weather would be appreciated. Looking for a pair of boots to take with me to go trekking through south american rain forest.

Q: Can these be used over stockingfoot waders? I have a new pair of stockingfoot chest waders. I am curious if these would work well over top of them.
