We love the the size of the Coleman 48 can cooler. It holds manu different types of beverages and certainly keeps them very cold all day long! Drop in your ice and it's chill! It's easy to clean up after each use! It certainly does hold up very well on a camping trip or just a day at the ball fields! Honestly it can be a little bit on the heavy side if packed up. It weighs about 8lbs empty plus adding ice and your contents inside can be a bit heavy, but overall a great cooler!

Q: is it bear resistant? if not which one is

A: The only cooler that Canadian Tire sells that is 'bear resistant' is the Igloo Yukon series. The Yukon series is certified bear resistant when padlocked. The coolers are built to compete with the more well know 'Yeti' coolers. I was unable to find them on the Canadian Tire website, but our retailer in Whitehorse stocks 2 sizes, 50 and 70 quart.
